Implementation of sustainable growth
To enhance sustainability in the medium to long term, Dongjin Textile has joined the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC). By participating in this global initiative, we aim to contribute to the well-being of our local community and foster development alongside it. Through the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM), we quantify our practices related to resource and chemical usage, emission of pollutants, and environmental management system. This process verifies our commitment to sustainable management by evaluating the environmental impacts of production activities.

ZDHC

Zero Discharge of
Hazardous Chemicals
For chemical management, we are leading the industry by joining ZDHC, a global association. In accordance with ZDHC’s list of restricted substances for manufacturing, we are certified as not detecting hazardous substances for the entire process from receipt of raw materials to commercialization and sale.
Dongjin Textile meticulously traces the entire lifecycle of chemicals, from manufacturing and distribution to usage and disposal. With transparent management, we prioritize worker safety and closely monitor the local and environmental impacts of chemical usage. As a result, Dongjin Textile has achieved bluesign certification, which is equivalent to the highest level of ZDHC MRSL. Additionally, we are actively carrying out sustainable management activities, including the inspection of finished products and the monitoring of pollutant discharges, such as wastewater and air emissions from our production. These practices apply ZDHC’s global standards, which are much stricter than local regulations.
Social & Labor
Convergence
Program
Dongjin Textile applies the globally recognized SLCP to systematize and enhance employees' working conditions, including recruitment, working hours, wages and benefits, worker treatment, worker involvement, health and safety, retirement, and management systems. These high standards not only increase the transparency of our management, but are also a prerequisite for meeting the requirements from the global supply chain.
