Knit is one of the commonly seen fabrics around us. Knit is characterized by creating loops of yarn and connecting them to form a surface. Dongjin Textile's knit is broadly divided into warp and weft knits. Warp knit fabric is created with yarns moving only in the vertical direction to form loops. Weft knit fabric is created with yarns moving only horizontally to form loops. The connection between loops allows for elasticity, preventing the fabric from becoming too tight or stiff, making it suitable for shoe structures with many curves. Another characteristic of knit is its ability to create cushion-like fabric. This cushion-type knit is most suitable for use on the outer surface of shoes where comfort is essential.
